Exceed everyone’s expectations
The Young People’s Puppet Theatre is an arts education charity that helps young people exceed their own expectations through puppetry.
Our projects guide children through the process of building their own puppets, designing sets, and staging full-scale productions.
We believe that no child should miss out on opportunities to build confidence, resilience and other vital social skills through the arts.

Art aprons with a difference
Keep yourself free of paint and clay with a YPPT apron! Our aprons are made from offcuts from our backdrops, and sewn by one of our amazing volunteers. All proceeds from sales go straight into making more puppet projects happen.
The aprons are roughly 70cm long and 50cm wide. Please note that, because they are made of offcuts, each apron varies slightly in size.
Free shipping within the UK. Unfortunately we are not able to ship overseas.
Our limited edition aprons are handmade from offcuts from our backdrops by one of our amazing volunteers.
All proceeds go straight into our puppet projects.
“I’m really impressed because I’ve achieved something that I never even thought about. I’ve learned that everybody is good at something, and if it’s hard, you just have to keep going.”
